Mahakam Multi Lestari has total area of 5.000ha with 5km distance to AKM’s jetty which is very strategic to SLS. SLK, which is majority owned by SLS will become the mining contractor in MML from overburden, coal getting, coal hauling, and other mining related activities.

Coal loading terminal facility will be handled by AKM, which is also majority owned by SLS. It has been proven that MML has around of 40.000.000 MT of coal deposit with GAR 34 quality from 1000ha area. More exploration needed to be done and we are convinced that the deposit will increase. MML plans to increase production from 1,2MT per annum to 4,8MT starting in quarter 3 of 2023.
